# UniSight

> UniSight is the accounting and operations platform — the control point — for food retail, built by UniSight BIT Inc. of Glendale, California (founded 2022). It unifies point of sale, inventory, time & attendance, payments, and bookkeeping into a single system of record for independent grocery stores, supermarkets, and other food retailers. Tagline: "Accountable is Profitable."

UniSight is not a point-of-sale company: POS is one integrated capability inside a platform that tracks every transaction, product movement, and dollar in the business. The suite is GroPOS (the register), oneStore (Android in-store inventory app), oneTime (Android time-clock kiosk), oneTeam (employee app for iOS and Android, coming soon), onePay (payment app on PAX terminals plus UniSight merchant services), oneScan (invoice-scanning kiosk with AI-drafted invoices), UniSight TV (always-on Apple TV dashboard), and the cloud-hosted UniSight Platform with real-time per-branch dashboards, rule-based alerting, and a built-in accounting suite.

GroPOS is an installed, offline-first register — a Java application for Windows and Linux touchscreen terminals that keeps the full catalog and pricing in a local database and syncs continuously to the UniSight cloud. Cash sales keep working through internet outages (with automatic 30-minute sync retries); card/EBT payments and returns require connectivity. All register and back-office pricing runs through one deterministic pricing engine with a tamper-evident audit log, built for NIST Handbook 44 weights-and-measures compliance.

Pricing: the Core suite (GroPOS, oneStore, oneTime, onePay) is $199/month with UniSight merchant services (onePay) or $299/month with your own processor, with custom estimates per location, hardware leasing from $45/month, and no per-transaction fees.
