UniSight BIT Inc. ("UniSight," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Services, including grocery store owners, managers, employees, and end customers who interact with our platform.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information (name, email, phone number)
  • Mobile number entered for optional UniSight account and security text messages (see Text Messages / Mobile Information)
  • Business information (store name, address, business details)
  • Payment information (processed through secure third-party providers)
  • Communications (support requests, feedback)

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
  • Location data (with your consent)
  • Cookies and similar technologies

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send promotional communications (with your consent). This does not include the UniSight account-SMS program described below. Mobile numbers collected for account and security texts are not used for promotional or marketing messages.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions
  • Personalize and improve your experience

5. How We Share and Disclose Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf. Twilio is a service provider we use to deliver UniSight account and security text messages. Twilio is not a buyer of your mobile number.
  • Business partners with your consent. This does not include your mobile phone number or messaging consent data, which we do not share, sell, or provide to business partners, affiliates, or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Legal authorities when required by law
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “sharing” more broadly to include certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising or advertising measurement. You can keep optional advertising measurement off through Privacy choices in the footer, and we honor supported Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of that measurement.

6. Text Messages / Mobile Information

UniSight BIT Inc. sends account and security text messages (sign-in and enrollment verification codes) to Back Office users who opt in by providing a mobile number and checking an optional consent box in UniSight. These messages are informational account and security notices only. They are not marketing, promotional, or customer advertising texts.

We collect the mobile phone number you enter for this program so we can deliver those sign-in and enrollment codes. We use Twilio as a service provider to send the messages. Twilio is not a buyer of your number.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency is typically 1 message per sign-in or enrollment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Support: 1-888-294-6414, privacy@unisight.com.

Consent is not a condition of using UniSight. An authenticator app remains available. Checking the optional SMS consent box is separate from accepting this Privacy Policy or our Terms.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential browser storage to remember your privacy choices and support core site behavior. On pages with public intake forms, Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise also operates as a security service to detect automated abuse and protect those forms; we do not use it for advertising. Optional analytics and advertising measurement remain off unless you affirmatively enable the corresponding purpose through our Privacy choices controls.

8.1 Analytics

If you enable Analytics, we load Google Analytics to measure visits and site interactions so we can understand and improve the website. Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled in our Google consent configuration. Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers and cookies such as _ga.

8.2 Advertising Measurement

If you enable Advertising measurement, we load the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel to understand whether visitors who interacted with UniSight ads view pages or complete a customer demo-request form. The Pixel may process page, browser, device, attribution, and conversion-event information and may store first-party attribution cookies such as __oppref.

If you enable this purpose and enter an email address in the customer demo-request form, browser code may trim and lowercase that address and create a SHA-256 hash for conversion matching. A lead_created conversion is sent only after the UniSight CRM accepts the request. We do not write the raw email address to browser storage or include the raw address in Pixel measurement requests. Pixel events are marked to opt out of future user-level personalization.

8.3 Your Choices

You can accept, reject, or separately control Analytics and Advertising measurement. Use the control at any time to review or withdraw a choice. Withdrawal prevents the relevant tracker from loading on subsequent page views and removes known first-party measurement cookies and pending advertising-conversion markers from this site. It does not automatically delete information already received by a service provider.

If your browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control signal, Advertising measurement remains disabled. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, although doing so may cause the site to ask for your privacy choices again.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable, including through a supported Global Privacy Control signal

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
